Get the job you want with Room for Work Online
Room for Work ESF2 is a free employability skills course delivered on zoom in a group format. It is unique in that it also offers tailored, online mentoring with one-to-one meetings.
The course is for skilled workers 45+ with work experience ranging from administrative to managerial and professional roles. To attend, participants need a good working knowledge of English, basic computer skills, access to the web plus a laptop or tablet.
Participants must be unemployed. Preference will be given to those applicants who may be one or more of the following:
• Over 50
• With disabilities
• Lone parents
• From an ethnic minority
• Carers
The course is funded by an ESF Community Grant and is free of charge. Registration is restricted to residents in the boroughs of Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Sutton and Croydon.
Classes are delivered on Tuesdays from 10.30am-1pm.
The next course starts 22 September 2020 and runs to 15 December.
